Fire Shutter Curtain Composition
A fire shutter curtain typically has several layers: molded clamping plates, decorative fire-resistant fiber fabric, fireproof cloth, fire blanket, and radiation-proof cloth. The internal filling — commonly asbestos or ceramic fiber — plays a critical role in providing fire resistance through its high tensile strength, heat resistance, and insulation properties.
Special-Grade Fire Shutters
Special-grade fire shutters use steel or inorganic fiber for the curtain, with steel guide rails, bottom beams, clamping plates, headers, and housings. They meet fire integrity, insulation, and smoke control requirements using a two-step descent method, and send alarm and action signals to the fire control room.
Emergency Control
When a smoke detector in front of a high-speed fire shutter triggers, the alarm panel in the fire control room gives an audible and visual alert, records the fire time, and shows the location. The shutter receives the action signal and descends to a preset height, with the status reflected on the control room panel.
